Life Pharmacy Celebrates Success

At Annual Supplier Awards

The CS Company Fragrance Division was the Supreme Award winner at this year’s Life Pharmacy Annual Supplier Awards. It was selected because of its ability to help Life Pharmacy to deliver results in what is a significantly competitive category. The CS Company continues to work alongside Life Pharmacy group to identify strategic opportunities that result in competitive advantages and therefore increased sales and profitability.

The Life Pharmacy Annual Supplier Awards are held to recognise the success of Life Pharmacy and Care Chemist suppliers, staff and stores. The awards were held at the Hilton in Auckland and hosted by Marc Ellis on 4th September.

Product of the Year

Criteria:

Eligible nominees are those products available in Life Pharmacy and Care Chemist stores in Beauty, Health, Natural Health or Specialty merchandise categories.

This product can be new, or established in the market place, however must clearly have shown its ability to have added significant value to the category and the LPL Group

Beauty / Fragrance

Winner:

RoC - BDM Grange

BDM Grange has successfully positioned RoC as a prestige, quality, skincare product at an accessible price point. The integrity of the RoC range and product performance has delivered strong customer uptake and ongoing repeat purchase - resulting in significant category growth.

OTC/Health

Winner:

Nature’s Own Fish Oil

Natures Own Fish Oil has been instrumental in growing the Natural Health Category this year. Symbion Consumer has executed a very successful promotional programme with LPL which has significantly contributed to ensuring that profitability is maintained in a competitive segment of the category.

PCI – L’Oreal Luxury Division

Raj and the team at PCI have supported the Life Pharmacy stores with new ranging opportunities for exclusive brands such as Viktor & Rolf and Armani. The prestige marketing of these brands has further positioned Life Pharmacy as the destination of choice for consumers searching for fragrances of distinction.

Beauty Supplier of the Year - Service Beauty

Winner:

Shiseido New Zealand Limited

Shiseido consistently strive to understand how they can enhance the retail offer presented to LPL’s customers through the Shiseido brand. Shiseido support the cohesive approach to all aspects of marketing, promotion and operations with LPL and are continually focused on striving to deliver the very best of service for all stakeholders in the LPL business.

Beauty Supplier of the Year - Self Service Beauty

Winner:

BDM Grange Limited

BDM Grange has done an outstanding job at launching the RoC brand to the Self Service Beauty Category this year. BDM Grange implemented an extensive above the line advertising campaign to launch the brand which has delivered excellent results for the LPL Group. Part of the success of this launch can be attributed to the fantastic support and extensive training that has been provided by the BDM Grange field team.

Health Supplier of the Year - OTC

Winner:

Douglas Pharmaceuticals Limited

Douglas Pharmaceuticals consistently perform well in this category. Douglas Pharmaceuticals are a family company who draw on tradition and experience to deliver fantastic service and results. Special mention should be made of the field team who are renowned for delivering outstanding customer service.

Health Supplier of the Year - Natural Health

Good Health Ltd has become the first supplier to develop an exclusive Life Pharmacy product. Recently Life Pharmacy launched an exclusive Fish Oil pack that delivers fantastic value to customers while also differentiating our product offering from the rest of the market. Specialty Merchandise Supplier of the Year

Simunovich Olive Estates

Simunovich Olive Estate is passionate about their product. This year they have further developed their passion for olive based skincare by producing a new brand – Tebe. Both of the Simunovich brands are top performing gift lines for the LPL group.
