Dimension Data in the Challengers Quadrant

Leading Industry Analyst Firm, Gartner Inc., recognises Dimension Data. Dimension Data positioned in the Challengers Quadrant for Managed and Professional Network Services, Worldwide

Wellington 13th November 2008 - Dimension Data, a $3.8 billion leading IT solutions and services provider has been positioned by Gartner, Inc., in the Challengers Quadrant of the Magic Quadrant for Managed and Professional Network Service Providers, Worldwide[1] report. Datacraft is a subsidiary of Dimension Data.

According to the report, “Gartner's Magic Quadrant for Worldwide Managed and Professional Network Service (MPNS) vendors is a guide for midsize and large companies to identify and evaluate vendors that deliver IT services in support of connectivity and communications infrastructure such as WAN edge devices, IP telephony hardware and software.”

Dawson continued, “In the current macro-economic climate CIOs and IT directors are focused on leveraging their existing investments and gaining greater effectiveness from their infrastructures. This is also true of their investment in IT services. We are seeing an increased interest from our client base in adopting new sourcing strategies for supporting and managing IT infrastructure.”
