Progressive Enterprises and Proximity iD win the NCDM Silver Medal at Database Marketing Awards in Orlando, Florida

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

10 December 2008 – Progressive Enterprises and Proximity iD, New Zealand’s leading specialist in the integration of technology and marketing, have won the Silver Medal for Technological Applications at the prestigious US National Center for Database Marketing (NCDM) Awards in Orlando. Administered by the United States Direct Marketing Association, the Awards are the top international accolade for database marketing.

This is the third time in four years Proximity iD has been recognised by the NCDM for its work in leveraging customer insights, efficient marketing communications and reducing the cost of doing business. Other finalists included Cisco Systems, Valvoline Instant Oil Change/Catalyst Direct, Inc., and Alltell Wireless/Acxiom Corporation.

Geoff Cooper, CEO at Proximity iD says, “We’re extremely happy to be recognised by the United States DMA once again. The integration of our analytics, database marketing, email and web development expertise, as well as the world-class staff we have here, has enabled us to continually demonstrate our leadership in marketing technology.”

“NCDM’s Database Excellence Awards are given only to those who have demonstrated both ingenuity and creativity in leveraging their marketing databases, and have achieved dramatic results,” said Yasmin Melendez, DMA’s group show director and NCDM programmer.

“We congratulate Progressive Enterprises and Proximity iD on their continued success, as they have won an award the last two years in a row! Their creativity and expertise have once again garnered impressive results by taking home the 2008 Silver NCDM Database Excellence Award in the Technology and Marketing Category.”
