AdHub and Think Digital Media join forces

16 April 2009

Media release

AdHub and Think Digital Media join to create New Zealand’s largest online advertising network

Two of New Zealand’s leading online display advertising networks – Think Digital Media and AdHub – have joined forces to become the undisputed number one player in the market. The new business, which will be known as AdHub boasts more than 20 category leading websites and delivers over 1 million unduplicated readers every month.

Josh Borthwick, managing director of the newly integrated business says: “This is an exciting time for online advertising with the industry set to deliver double digit growth over the toughest financial period New Zealand has faced since the stock market crash of 1987.

With wide reach and high quality websites we will now be able to deliver even stronger results for advertisers and publishers.”

Spencer Bailey, general manager of APN Online will be on the Board of Directors of AdHub. “As the majority shareholder of AdHub, APN Online continues to take the leadership role in the online advertising space in New Zealand. The newly formed business will focus on offering superior client service, innovative solutions and high quality products with a dedicated team of online specialists.”

Adhub’s approach offers the ability to target advertising campaigns on individual sites or within a number of targeted channels including Men, Women, Entertainment, Retail and the 50+ age group.

nzherald.co.nz’s sales team is not impacted by these changes and business remains as usual.

The new business will take effect from 1 May 2009.
