Closed for Good is a unique way for New Zealand communities to get free help with projects. On Wednesday, 4 November, BNZ is closing all our stores and most of our support offices – “for good”. On that day, we won’t be working for BNZ, we’ll be working for you, on projects nominated by communities all over New Zealand.

Between now and 27 September we’ll be asking for your ideas about projects we can help with on the day. You don’t have to be a BNZ customer to have a project chosen – it just needs to be something that helps your community to be better off.

On the day, we’ll be working in teams of all sizes, on projects all over New Zealand. If you’re a BNZ customer, you’ll still be able to do your banking by Internet, phone or at an ATM as usual. The only difference is our stores will be closed. And, of course, we’ll be open for business the days before and after we’re Closed for Good.
