Fronde community impact with Ministry of Education

Fronde creates community impact with Ministry of Education

28 August 2009 – Wellington, Auckland

Fronde is delighted to have won Microsoft’s 2009 Community Impact Solution of the Year with the Ministry of Education’s Enrolment Management System (ENROL). The 2009 Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards were held last night in Auckland.

ENROL is a web-based system which allows New Zealand schools to update school student enrolment information in real-time. It has been implemented in all of New Zealand’s schools. The system automates from end to end a formerly paper-based process across multiple schools and third party organizations, by tracking a school student through the lifecycle of their education from Years 1 through 13.

"We are so pleased with Microsoft’s recognition of the positive impact ENROL has made on the community. The system delivered immediate results by improving school enrolment processes across the whole education system," says Robyn Smits, Senior Manager Sector Services from the Ministry.

"ENROL is a great example of the smart use of Microsoft technologies," says Dominic Stow, GM Strategy Services, Fronde. "However it’s the very real difference it makes to the lives of all New Zealand families that we are most proud of."

Fronde is a Gold Certified Microsoft partner and has extensive Microsoft technologies and development capability in Wellington and in Auckland.
