Trio of Lamborghinis at Prestige Auction

Media Release

10 September 2009

Trio of Lamborghinis at Prestige Auction

Three stunning Lamborghinis are part of a 25-lot Prestige Auction being held at Turners in Auckland this Saturday 12 September.
The number of luxury vehicles being sold through Prestige Auctions is increasing, but three Lamborghinis in an already impressive line up, is causing a stir with punters looking for luxury at a lower price.

“Three Lamborghinis in any auction is insane – but for the first time we have a 2003 Murcielago which is Lamborghini’s flagship model. It’s remarkable and one of only a dozen in the country,” says Chris Broadhurst from Turners.

The Murcielago boasts a six-speed manual transition and a 6.2L V12 engine. Chris expects it to sell for $225,000 - $260,000. The trio is completed twin Lamborghini Gallarados - one a 2004 E-Gear in silver and the other a black 2004 model.

Porsche fans are showing a keen interest in the 911 Turbo 2007, a model touted by many in the industry as being the best balanced 911 yet.

“This car is in superb condition and its new value is around $330,000 – we’re expecting it will sell on Saturday for around half that amount,” says Chris.

And for those keen to start the bidding at the lower end, there are two ‘No Reserve’ vehicles at auction – an Audi RS4 Avant 2007 and Bentley Arnage 1999. It’s the first time a Bentley has been offered at Turners for No Reserve.

The Prestige Car Auction will be held at Turners Auctions Penrose, 70 Gavin Street, at noon Saturday, September 12.  To view the full list of luxury vehicles visit www.turners.co.nz
