Fast 50 and Fast Movers

Digital Island - Fast 50 and Fast Movers

Business telecommunications provider Digital Island marks three consecutive years’ Fast 50 success and forthcoming move to new premises.

Auckland, New Zealand, 29 October 2009 – Business to business telecommunications service provider Digital Island has made it three in a row with 41st place in this year’s Deloitte Fast 50.

“Given the challenging economic conditions of the past 18 months we are delighted to be back in the Fast 50 again,” General Manager Blair Stewart said. “Digital Island previously won Fastest Growing Technology Company in 08, Fastest Growing Telco & ISP in 07 and we placed 6th overall both those years.”

“We think growth in excess of 170% is a significant achievement over the last 24 month period, and this expansion has led to a move to bigger premises. Digital Island is moving to the brand new, Green Star rated commercial offices of 8 Nugent in December. We really like 8 Nugent’s campus concept with offices, residential, retail and cafe combined in one site. The location is easily accessible for our customers and staff and 8 Nugent offers a full range of transport options, with everything from bicycle racks through to easy access to bus and train networks.

“Digital Island’s Fast 50 ‘three-peat’ and business growth are two excellent notes on which to approach the close of 2009, and we are confident of a couple more significant achievements before the start of 2010,” Mr Stewart said.
