Beneteau Group Selects Tallon Systems

Beneteau Group Selects Tallon Systems For Flyer And Trawler Ranges

French boat builder Beneteau Group will be installing New Zealand made marine accessories, Tallon Systems, in its Flyer and Trawler Ranges of motorboats from October 2009.

The deal sees Tallon™ Receiver Units installed by Beneteau in the first year, with the potential to expand into Beneteau's full range of sailing yachts and motorboats. Tallon Systems’ non-powered and powered receiver platforms are designed to accommodate four, interchangeable ranges of Tallon Accessories – Entertaining, Fishing & Diving, Attaching and Power – enabling boaters to quickly and effortlessly install and swap out commonly used outdoor accessories, preserving the craft’s design and clean lines.

The Beneteau Group is one of the world’s largest boat builders and produces internationally recognised brands such as Janneau, Lagoon, CNB, IRM & O'HARA. Beneteau’s boat brands have a substantial worldwide market share for sailing yachts and now motorboats, making it an ideal OEM partner for Tallon.

Duncan Good, General Manager of Tallon Systems said: “To have a world renowned brand like Beneteau choose Tallon Systems for their accessory solutions is a huge achievement for us. Locally, we’ve been incorporated into craft by quality marine manufacturers, such as Stabi Craft and Fi-Glass, but our deal with Beneteau confirms the System’s international appeal and potential.

“Long term, our goal is for Tallon Systems to be adopted as the standard accessory system for both consumers and OEMs, enabling boat owners to personalise their watercraft or vehicles. There are endless applications and possibilities.”

Since its launch at the 2007 Auckland International Boat Show, Tallon™ has introduced a unique and innovative accessory system into the international marine markets, the success of which has led to major distribution agreements in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland and Europe, as well as retail distribution in New Zealand.

Tallon will partner with Beneteau at the Paris Boat show between the 13th and 5th of December where a selection of Tallon Systems products will be on show.
