93% Of Pacific Blue Domestic Flights On Time

93% Of Pacific Blue Domestic Flights On Time In October

Wednesday 11 November 2009: Pacific Blue recorded a strong on-time performance result in October, with 93% of domestic New Zealand flights departing on time.

Pacific Blue’s General Manager Commercial, Adrian Hamilton-Manns, said the airline had consistently achieved on-time performance of 90% or more for most of the year.

“For nine of the ten months so far this year, Pacific Blue’s on-time performance has been 90% or better. This is a very solid and consistent result and reflects the hard work and dedication that everyone at the airline places on ensuring our Guests get where they’re going on time, more of the time.”

Pacific Blue was the first New Zealand domestic airline to publicly report its on-time performance figures and has been publishing the data regularly on its website since July 2009, with data going back to January 2009.

On-time is counted as flights that depart within 15 minutes of their scheduled departure time. Pacific Blue makes no exceptions for bad weather, air traffic control, delays from suppliers, unscheduled maintenance, consequences of previous delays, or anything else.

Pacific Blue’s domestic on-time performance is easily found from its flypacificblue.com home page via the “Flight Info” menu button, or at the URL below:
