The Good Dope on Bio Fuel

The Zero Now Day of alternative fuels, renewable resources and zero emissions being held at Te Manawa in Palmerston North on Anniversary Monday 25 January, has attracted a wide and varied range of exhibitors.

Clean Fuelz from Hawkes Bay will be showing two vehicles and a Harley Davidson, all running with hydrogen as the catalyst in a conventional internal combustion engine.

“The reductions we’re showing in harmful exhaust emissions are attracting attention from all around the world,” says Clean Fuelz Managing Director and owner, Tim Parker.

“We’re showing equally impressive results in kilometres travelled per litre. We’ll have fresh Dyno results this weekend, which people can look over on Anniversary Day.”

Other exhibitors include domestic Solar solutions and rainwater recycling systems, and the Bio Gas Company with Hemp Diesel bio-fuel.

As well as displays and working examples of renewable resource energy endeavours, there will be several key speakers throughout the day. These include Bill Dube, the designer and “pilot” of Killacycle, the world’s quickest electric motorcycle, which will be a key attraction on the day.

The Zero Now Day runs between 10am and 2pm at Te Manawa on Main Street West, Palmerston North on Anniversary Monday 25 January. The event is open to the public and is free to attend.
