Intercity Holdings Limited Appoints New Director To Board

InterCity Holdings Limited has appointed Graham Heenan as an independent Director. In this newly created position, Graham will join Joe Butterfield (Chair), Glenn Ritchie (Director) and Paul Snelgrove (Director) on the InterCity Board.

Graham Heenan was a senior executive of Dominion Breweries (DB) for 13 years with accountability for all South Island operations from 1986-92. He is currently Chairman of Heller Tasty Ltd and a number of complementary organisations including Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa and DB South Island Brewery Ltd. He was also a past Chairman of Christchurch and Canterbury Marketing.

“Graham has strong skills in governance, strategic planning, finance and marketing and we are delighted to have someone of his calibre join us. He is a proven leader and has been involved with many successful companies providing insightful and strong direction,” says InterCity Group Chairman, Joe Butterfield.

Graham will commence his role in January 2010. He is married with three adult sons and currently lives in Christchurch. His personal interests include all sports, particularly tennis, golf, fishing and biking.

Graham holds a B.Com in Accounting and Marketing from Otago University.
