ComOps Appoints New Zealand Country Manager

Auckland, 19 March 2010 – ComOps, a leading Australasian provider of business software products and services, has announced the appointment of Don Glenn as New Zealand Country Manager based in Auckland.

Glenn joins ComOps with over 20 years’ experience in the IT industry holding positions in business management, direct and indirect channel sales, IT operations, consulting, account and project management. At ComOps, he will be responsible for driving the company’s market presence in New Zealand by recruiting new business partners, overseeing new revenue opportunities, managing local customer relationships and growing the company’s local workforce.

Glenn was previously New Zealand Regional Manager for TechnologyOne, a leading provider of enterprise financial management solutions. During his five years with the company, he was responsible for overall business management, development of the company’s sales and consulting teams, and meeting revenue and profit targets.

Prior, he was employed as Professional Services Manager for global ERP software application provider, SSA Global Technologies, before being promoted to New Zealand Manager with overall responsibility for sales and business development as well as client relationship management.

Glenn has also worked in business management roles for Wang New Zealand (now Gen-I Ltd), Essentially Solutions and Snell Packaging and Stationery. He initially commenced his career in finance and accounting roles within the New Zealand private sector.
