A Space To Call Their Own

A Space To Call Their Own

As our little ones grow and develop their own personalities, the amount of room they need to call their own grows with them. But the ongoing juggle of parenthood means you simply don’t have the time to adapt the space to suit kids and their ever-changing needs – and the amount of readily available expert advice seems to drop away, too.

Kidzspace offers the tools and solutions to enable you to take it out of the too- hard basket and provide vibrant and stylish yet functional spaces for any kid, whether toddler or teen, to feel happy and at home in.

It was a moment of pure insight that saw Kiwi mum Lynne Horne start designing furniture from home until demand became so great that Kidzspace needed its own space. After two years in her award-winning concept store in Epsom, a new concept store is about to open in Barrys Point Road also delivering practical and stunning solutions for kids bedrooms, playrooms and rumpus rooms – not to mention the NZ designed and made furniture.

Horne comments, “You don't have to pay designer fees to get a designer looking kids' bedroom that works! We display eight concept bedrooms in each store, allowing families to mix and match with what works for them, their personality and their home, because everyone is different - and the kids love having a say! By designing our own furniture and taking our own buying trips a few times a year, we can deliver unique options to all of our customers at cost effective prices.”

Kidzspaces’ own furniture range, including their extremely popular cube shelving and study options, are supported by colourful baskets and gorgeous kids’ bed linen – including the full range of Paterson Rose linen, Touchwood beds, a selection of bunks and an assortment of funky lights, stunning rugs and fun bedroom accessories. Whether boys or girls, tots, tweens or teens, there is something for everyone. Kidzspace is truly a one-stop-shop.

Visit their new store 57 Barrys Point Road, Takapuna (opposite Kathmandu) opening July 31 2010 or go online at www.kidzspace.co.nz
