Regional Growth Forces Move to Bigger Premises

Tradestaff’s Tauranga branch has moved into bigger and brighter premises to cope with the steady growth taking place within the Bay of Plenty region.

Tradestaff Managing Director Kevin Eder says this is great news for the company, given the current economic climate.

“We’re delighted to have taken up residence in larger premises. We consider Tauranga to be a vibrant place and our move was driven by necessity, as the Bay of Plenty region continues to grow,” he says.

Tradestaff is one of New Zealand’s leading recruitment and placement companies, supplying temporary and permanent workers to the trade sector.

The new Tauranga office is home to Tradestaff’s Bay of Plenty Area Manager, the National Business Services Manager, a team leader and two consulting staff.

“The Tauranga office was the third branch we opened over 12 years ago Our current Bay of Plenty Area Manager, Grant Kedian, started as a Tradestaff consultant in the Hamilton office back in 2005, moving to a Team Leader’s role in our Rotorua office a couple of years later,” says Kevin Eder.

“This branch is very dear to our hearts and the staff have such invaluable local knowledge – they know the area like the back of their hand We really see ourselves as a local agency with national coverage in the Bay of Plenty region.”

Prior to the move to new premises, Kevin Eder says the company’s Bay Of Plenty Area Manager was based in the Rotorua office.

“Given the steady growth taking place in the region, it made so much more business sense to have our Area Manager based in the new Tauranga office. We also have an important sponsorship arrangement with the local Bay of Plenty Steamers rugby team, which was another major reason to have our key management team based in Tauranga. We value this sponsorship arrangement and want to continue our strong tie with the team.”

The new Tradestaff premises is located at Level 1, 411 Cameron Road, Tauranga.
