Hosting Direct Announces Price Reductions for .nz and .com Domain names

Hosting Direct Ltd, a leading New Zealand ISP has today announced that it is confirming its position as New Zealands most competitive hosting solutions provider by reducing the pricing for .nz and .com domains to $16.95 + gst and $13.95 + gst respectively. These new prices apply to both registrations and renewals.

North Shore City, New Zealand – August 5, 2010 - Ben Simpson, CEO of Hosting Direct said today, “Hosting Direct has always been New Zealand's most competitive hosting solutions provider. We are reconfirming this position by further lowering our prices for domain names, among many other changes”. He added, “Registrars in New Zealand have been taking advantage of the increased margins on .nz domain names for the last few months, to the detriment of their customers”.

The changes come in the wake of a drop in the wholesale pricing for .nz domain names, and are accompanied by several other changes, including the announcement of $150 dedicated servers and several new products – notably, a Business ADSL plan including unlimited national traffic.

Hosting Direct invites all interested parties to view its updated website at http://www.hd.net.nz/
