Telecom NZ stock halted from trading pending announcement
Sept. 9 (BusinessDesk) – Telecom Corp. had its stock halted from trading on the NZX pending an announcement from the company.
The nation’s biggest phone company has proposed splitting up its businesses to enable it to participate in the government rollout of an ultra-fast broadband network.
The shares were unchanged at $2.13 yesterday and have declined 17% this year.
