International support for Non-Profit Sector

International support for Non-Profit Sector

Auckland’s Waipuna Hotel & Conference Centre will be abuzz in February 2011 with a topic-specific, one day only, conference being held specifically to help non-profit industry executives, trustees and office bearers.

With both local and international speakers, Marketing byAssociation will help attendees connect with their target audience, strategically plan and create clarity with their brand and profile, and create value for members and key stakeholders.

Marketing byAssociation comes at a time when charities and associations need assistance to ensure they’re creating the right messages at the right time; the conference will help attendees better connect with their audience, stem decline in support and rejuvenate membership.

Attendees will benefit from networking opportunities and hear first hand real life experiences from their peers. The conference provides the opportunity to connect with the speakers; it’s about sharing useful information, with an emphasis on implementation and benefit to delegates.

Keynote speaker Nancy E. Schwartz from the United States will conduct a master class of limited numbers. While her message is designed to appeal to chief, marketing and communication executives of incorporated societies and charitable trusts, it will also apply to marketing managers of for-profit companies of all sizes.

Nancy Schwartz is an experienced and notable presenter. Her recent seminars in New York and Washington were oversubscribed, which is indicative of her standing in the world's most competitive association market. Her regular newsletter ‘Getting Attention’ has an international readership. Nancy’s visit to NZ is organised by New Zealand Association Resource Centre Trust.

The charitable and association sector contributes 2.6 percent of New Zealand’s GDP and over 250 million volunteer hours making the sector a major part of the community and economy.

The Marketing byAssociation conference, will be held at the Waipuna Hotel & Conference Centre on Tuesday the 22nd February, 2011. Registrations are now open, and for those wanting to take advantage of the early bird rate, registrations close on 24 December.
