Turners Auctions To Run Italian Job
Italian supercars set to go for a steal in Turners Prestige Auction

High-flyers and fashionistas have an opportunity to drive away in Italian luxury and performance as a trio of Maserati go under the hammer at Turners Auckland branch on 26 March.

The 2009 Maserati Gran Turismo S is set to be the star of the show and mixes a luxurious leather-clad interior with a 440 HP V8 4.7L engine that can reach 100km/h in as little as 5 seconds to ensure you arrive in style and on time.

“These cars will really stop traffic. They are some of the most exotic and luxurious cars in the country and fans of prestige vehicles would be mad to miss this auction,” says Scott Dobbie, Turners’ Auckland Branch Manager.

For those who demand extra capacity, the 2008 Maserati Quattroporte is a lavish sports sedan with additional room for high-fashion-shopping and fine-art-buying. This stunning piece of motoring was designed by Carozzeria Pininfarina and exudes Italian craftsmanship and performance.

The last of the Italian trio is an iconic 1986 Maserati Spyder. The red soft-top boasts a 2.5L V6 engine combined with a clean, white leather trim and is set to go for a steal with an estimated sale price of between $8,000 and $12,000.

Two Ferraris will also be on offer, including a 2006 Ferrari F430 Spider F1, which flaunts 4.3 litres of Italian V8 power. With Formula One racing technology in its design, this car not only looks the part, but will also get you up to speed on the Southern Motorway in a fraction over four seconds.

The 1993 Ferrari 512 TR is an Italian thorough-bred with 421 horses in the back. This hot yellow coupe is the last in a dying breed of manual supercars and is estimated to sell for between $100,000 and $160,000.

For style-conscious bargain hunters, there will also be the opportunity to bid on a NO RESERVE 2010 Golf GTi hatchback. Sexy in black, and with just 7,200 kms on the clock, this smart hatchback would usually retail for more than $50,000.

The Turners Prestige auction will begin at 12pm noon on Saturday 26 March at Turners Penrose, corner of Penrose & Leonard Roads, Auckland. Bidders are welcome to inspect the vehicles prior to the auction.

Bidders will be able to participate in the auction in person at the branch, by online bidding, or via phone bid. To find out more and to see the full auction catalogue, go to the Turners website: www.turners.co.nz
