25 years see Marlborough Business Expand Premises

Well-known fruit leather company Annies Marlborough marks its 25 year anniversary at its Grovetown premises. A week long programme of interactive treats and festivities in newly remodelled facilities celebrates the anniversary from 16 to 21 April.

Timed to coincide with the start of the school holidays kids are encouraged to come along with their parents to enjoy the new attractions in store.

Story-telling, and treasure hunts are just some of things that will keep kids entertained, while adults can relax in the cafe with a CPR coffee, try the healthy autumn café menu and a sample massage treat courtesy of Pampers Escape Day Spa.

Pom Pom the clown, and home based Star Dance Academy start the weeks’ events on Saturday 16 April, entertaining between 11am and 3pm.

A unique interactive display in the new fruit leather factory shop helps visitors follow the development of Annies fruit leather business which started its humble beginnings in a shed with one dehydrator to process the fruit into the fruit leather. With a focus on local produce and healthy eating the cafe also caters for the gluten intolerant and vegetarians.

On Sunday 17th April Annies celebrate with “Chill-out Sunday” offering an irresistible lunch special of 2 for 1.

“Mums Monday Treat” between 10 and 12noon features Jungle Kim’s story-telling, face painting, and treasure hunt. That’s for the kids. Mums enjoy a complimentary massage treat by Linda of Pampers Escape Day Spa. On Wednesday the focus is on The Wine Room’s new partner Yealands Estate wines, with free tastings and wine specials.
