Stuff.co.nz Android App Launched

Stuff.co.nz has launched their first Android app making it the county’s first official news app for Android.

New Zealand's largest online news source, stuff.co.nz, now delivers the latest, breaking news in an easy to use experience for Android operating systems, as well as via their highly regarded iPhone/iPad app which was launched in October 2010.

The new Android app features; the most popular news sections from stuff.co.nz with an easy swipe-action between stories, the ability for users to report the news on the go or take on assignments set by the Stuff team, share stories easily via email, Twitter and Facebook, look up weather and view videos and photo galleries within the story, or in full screen.

Nigel Tutt, General Manager - Fairfax Digital, says “Stuff.co.nz is the number one mobile site in terms of audience size, with nearly five million monthly page impressions, according to AC Nielsen Online data*. Now, with our launch of an Android app, more people than ever can get up to date with Stuff’s award winning news on the go.”
