MEDIA RELEASE

Speedy Signs New Zealand’s largest sign network is now open in Tauranga!

Speedy Signs makes any type of sign for any business including building signage, vehicle graphics,

illuminated signage, banners and flags, neon and LED signs and much, much more – all designed to

give customers greater brand recognition. The company has a good understanding of the importance

of having consistency in branding, and helping their customers create a good first impression.

Joanne Newcombe opened the Tauranga store in April and is very pleased with her first month of

trading. The latest addition to the Speedy Signs Group is located on the corner of Marsh and Chapel

Streets very close to Tauranga’s CBD and also has easy access to the neighbouring Mt. Maunganui.

Joanne is very proud to have an award winning designer Dwayne Coles on her team taking care of all

the production and design aspects of the business. The customer response from the business

community has been very positive “the clients have been very supportive” says Joanne. With a

background in graphic design herself, Joanne is very familiar to the design and print industry.

Joanne and her husband Andy have previously run a successful business as an independent BP

service station and have a great understanding of running good business systems. This is why they

finally settled on Speedy Signs for their current business venture. Grant Archibald of the Business

Franchise Group (NZ Franchisor) was very helpful when we initially enquired about the business; and

we discovered the group has won many different business and sign awards over the 13 years in

operation. We finally made up our minds to go ahead after talking with Darren Burborough & Richard

Haigh the owners of the Speedy Signs Rotorua. Joanne says, “Richard said to me, follow the system

and you won’t have a problem. That’s when I knew this was the right opportunity for me.”

Joanne say’s customer service is her key focus and she looks forward to the exciting challenges of her

new business venture!

For further information you can find Joanne and the Speedy Signs Team at 35 Chapel Street Tauranga
