2degrees opens new store on Lambton Quay tomorrow

2degrees is expanding its retail presence this week with the launch of its new Wellington store on Lambton Quay.

The store will open at 9am, Friday 27 May, with special offers on handsets, including 50 Nokia 1280 handsets (‘Good to Go’, including a SIM card loaded with $5 credit and a $10 txt pack) for only $2 each and 50 Huawei G6600 handsets for only $22 each.

Customers who purchase a 2degrees top up at the new store on Friday or Saturday will receive a free top up of equal value, to a maximum of $150.
More special deals and giveaways will also be available.

“With some great deals up for grabs, you’ll need to get there early as we get queues which stretch right down the road,” says Chief Sales Officer for 2degrees, Mark Cleary.

Mr Cleary said that the business is aiming to have more than 30 retail stores open by the end of the year. The store on Lambton Quay has created seven new full-time jobs.

“We’re proud to be opening our second store in Wellington and our 14th store in New Zealand,” added Mr Cleary. “We’ve created almost 100 new jobs in 2degrees stores over the past six months – and we’ve still got about 20 more stores to come this year.”

The address of the 2degrees Lambton Quay store is:
126 Lambton Quay
Wellington
