Dell's printer footprint expanded across Australia and NZ

Simms international SIGNS ON AS Dell'S NEWEST PRINTER DISTRIBUTOR

Dell's printer footprint expanded across Australia and New Zealand

SYDNEY, Australia, and AUCKLAND, New Zealand, 8 June, 2011 - Dell today
announced it is adding to its fast-growing PartnerDirect program and
widening its distributor partnerships in Australia and New Zealand by
offering selected Dell printing products through Simms International
.

Simms International, a leading distributor and supplier of IT products
and accessories to the Australian and New Zealand corporate and reseller
channels, will take to market thirteen of Dell's single and
multi-function monochrome and colour laser printers. The contract also
includes cartridge fulfillment for selected models.

This arrangement expands the number of printers available through Simms
International in New Zealand, and introduces Simms as a distributor of
Dell printers in Australia. Simms International has been distributing
Dell Vostro desktops and laptops, as well as a range of servers,
storage, networking products, and peripherals such as projectors and
laser printers, from its New Zealand operations since February 2010.

This arrangement will widen Dell's focus on small to medium sized
business printing solutions and deliver an even more immediate and
convenient way for resellers and customers to access Dell printing
products and cartridges. Following several major printer launches in
2010, Dell Australia and New Zealand has now rounded out its printer
family with its most comprehensive
line-up, providing over 85 per cent coverage of printing solutions
chosen by customers in Australia and New Zealand.

"We are pleased to be able to offer an even better experience for more
resellers through logistics efficiencies and benefits associated with
having stock and consumables warehoused across both Australia and New
Zealand," said Jay Turner, SMB channel director for Australia and New
Zealand. "We continue to work with Simms International as we remain
impressed with their reputation globally and their ability to provide
partners and customers with excellent service, like we have seen in New
Zealand."

"Our relationship with Dell began 15 months ago when we were appointed
its first distribution partner in New Zealand. The Simms New Zealand
business has gone from strength to strength as has our partnership with
Dell. We are excited that we are able to extend that relationship to
Australia," said Danny Moore Managing Director of Simms International.

"Dell has a strong product offering, and with a vacant printer category
within our portfolio, we see this as the perfect opportunity to enter
this category. This is a product range that naturally fits across both
our Corporate and Apple channels further strengthening our value
proposition into these markets."

The Simms International agreement expands on Dell's existing printer
distributor relationship with Altech Computer Corporation for Australia
and New Zealand, and represents further development of its global
PartnerDirect program which has more than 50,000 registered partners in
148 countries.
