Pacific Blue Recommences Services To New Zealand

BRISBANE, Australia, JUNE 26, 2011/Medianet International-AsiaNet/ --

BRISBANE 26 JUNE 2011: Virgin Australia Group of Airlines international subsidiary, Pacific Blue, will recommence services between Australia and New Zealand tomorrow, Monday 27 June 2011, following the disruption from the volcanic ash plume from Chilean volcano, Cordon Caulle.

Virgin Australia has monitored the plume activity and will target the commencement of services from:

*Auckland from 0600 local time
*Christchurch from 1000 local time
*Wellington from 1000 local time
*Queenstown from 1000 local time
*Dunedin from 1000 local time
*Hamilton from 1000 local time

Guests should first check the website to ensure their flight is operating ¨C go to www.virginaustralia.com or www.pacificblue.com.au or telephone 13 6789 (in Australia) or 0800 67 0000 (in New Zealand).

Guests with non©\essential travel should also reassess their need to travel. The website has a suite of information relating to changes without penalty and other flexible travel arrangements.
