Auckland, June 27, 2011: Hypermedia, New Zealand’s only specialist in-store marketing company, has appointed a well-respected member of the retail industry as its new Group Sales Director.
Wayne Simeon has over 15 years experience in FMCG marketing, sales and operations, having previously held the role of National Business Manager at Reckitt Benckiser New Zealand.
Hypermedia was established in September 2010 as the exclusive provider of in-store assets to Countdown Supermarkets. Currently, Hypermedia’s products include innovative floor decals, vertical shelf fins & shelf dispensers as well as Instore radio and checkout advertising. New options are soon to be launched to provide a an extensive suite of methods to communicate with shoppers where it matter most.
Simeon, who has previously held sales roles at FMCG giants Unilever and Nestlé. He has worked both here in NZ, in Australia and also in Switzerland in Nestle’s Global HO, says:
