Update on Jetstar New Zealand Services: Puyehue-Cordon Caulle Volcano

MELBOURNE, Australia, June 30 /Medianet International-AsiaNet/ --

The Chilean volcanic ash cloud continues to impact some of Jetstar's New Zealand operations.

The cloud will affect New Zealand domestic services and some Trans Tasman services today, Thursday 30 June 2011.

All flights to/from Christchurch, Queenstown and Wellington have been cancelled for today, Thursday 30 June 2011.

A full list of cancelled flights is listed on Jetstar.com.

All other Trans Tasman and international services continue to operate as normal.

Jetstar is closely monitoring the ash cloud in conjunction with the Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre and the Bureau of Meteorology. We continue to assess the situation and will provide updates to customers as soon as information becomes available.
