Grabone Store Opens Its Doors

Grabone Store Opens Its Doors

One year after launching its experience-based site, daily deal leaders GrabOne has launched GrabOne Store , a website dedicated to selling products.

GrabOne Store has been created in partnership with electronics and homewares specialist FirstIn.co.nz and will provide Kiwis with an array of quality products at heavily reduced prices up to 90% off the recommended retail price for 24 hours only.

GrabOne Founder and CEO, Shane Bradley believes branching into products is a natural extension of GrabOne's current portfolio.

"Store is a welcome addition to the GrabOne family," he says. "Over the past few months we've seen the daily deal market become swamped with copycat sites. However we feel there's still a bit of room for an awesome daily deal site selling good quality goods.

"While GrabOne focuses on the best things to eat, see, do, GrabOne Store is all about selling the best electronics, clothing, homeware and toys at affordable prices."

GrabOne has been testing products with FirstIn for the past three months with great success, selling thousands of products for them from digital cameras through to kitchen knives. The success of GrabOne product deals lead to the launch of Store.

GrabOne Store is the fifth vertical site to be added to the GrabOne portfolio which includes GrabOne Experiences , GrabOne Bottle , GrabOne Tee and GrabOne Escapes .

Today's GrabOne Store launch deals include a Sony Bloggie Camcorder for $149 (value $275), Pioneer DJ-Inspired Headphones for $59 (value $139) and a 5-Piece Cot Gift Set for $45 (value $120).

Pattrick Smellie Comment: Doddling along the best we can hope forCriticising Budgets for lacking vision or imagination is like shooting fish in a barrel, but even so, this year's Budget again feels like a missed opportunity. Perhaps it's the intrusion of real world needs that means the government couldn't make better political use of the $558.8 million it expects to gather in its first partial asset sale. More >>
