Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut Clusters Cereal Recall

Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut Clusters Cereal Recall

Kellogg (Aust) Pty Ltd is recalling a limited number of Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut Clusters cereal packs as a precautionary measure.

Kellogg’s first and overriding concern is always the safety of our customers and quality of our products.

Four customers contacted Kellogg Australia after finding a small piece of plastic in the cereal. For this reason we’ve made the decision to initiate a product recall.

The product being recalled in both Australia and New Zealand is Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut Clusters cereal of the following package sizes and best before dates:

* 540g with best before dates as printed on the box: * 21/03/2012 * 22/03/2012

* 450g with best before dates as printed on the box: * 01/06/2012

Customers and retailers can be assured that all other Kellogg products meet our high quality standards and are not affected by this issue. Only Crunchy Nut Clusters cereal packs with these specific “best before” dates are included in this recall.

Kellogg sincerely apologies to all our customers and thanks those who alerted the company.

We ask anyone with family and friends who may have purchased any of these products to contact them in case they may not be aware of this recall.

Customers with the above products are asked to return the recalled packs to the store of purchase for a full refund, or call the Kellogg Customer Contact Centre on 1800 000 474 in Australia and 0800 881 889 in New Zealand for further information.
