Lounge around with a Perfectly Poured Heineken

10th August, 2011

Before take-off - Lounge around with a Perfectly Poured Heineken

From today Koru Club members will get a social experience like no other thanks to the new Heineken Perfect Pour Bar.

A truly unique experience awaits domestic travelers in the Air New Zealand Koru Club Auckland domestic lounge with the addition of the latest innovation and the first of its kind in New Zealand, the 'Perfect Pour that you Pour' Heineken bar.

Heineken has developed a custom made portable space, shaped like a Heineken glass, that becomes the only lounge in New Zealand with Heineken draught beer that you can pour yourself.

Available each day from 3pm to 7pm the 'Perfect Pour that you Pour' Heineken bar includes a tutorial video playing on screen and is manned with a Heineken staff member to ensure you pour a perfect Heineken every time.

Luke Rive, Heineken Marketing Manager said: "Heineken is an innovative brand and is bringing this latest activation to life to enhance New Zealand's best domestic lounge environment."

Commenting on a Perfectly Poured Heineken Luke continues, "A perfectly poured Heineken is served with the right about of head on the beer. The head helps form a protective layer, so oxygen doesn't get to your beer and oxidise making it taste bitter, just like a cap on a bottle it keeps the beer fresh throughout the full drinking experience."
