New Deputy Chair for Abano

Abano Healthcare Group Limited has announced that independent director, Susan Paterson, has been appointed as deputy chair.

Trevor Janes, the previous deputy chair, has taken over as chairman following the retirement of Alison Paterson from that position. Alison remains on the board as an independent director and will chair the Audit and Risk Assurance Committee.

Susan has been a director of Abano since 2005 and is chair of the remuneration committee. She holds a number of other directorships including Goodman (NZ) Limited, Housing New Zealand and Les Mills New Zealand. She is a member of the Electricity Authority, and Chair of Airways Corporation of NZ Limited and Theta System Ltd.
