ENEX takes a bow

ENEX takes a bow

The petroleum event ENEX, launched by EnergyNZ magazine in association with event management company Conferenz, has been recognised in the Asian Conference Awards.

ENEX is now short-listed in the Best New Product category with the winner announced at the Asian Conference Summit & Awards 2012, being held in Singapore March 27-28.

“We are honoured to be short-listed in a category which has some very large and prestigious events from the Asia-Pac region,” says Conferenz managing director Steve Scott.

“We believe this is a direct testament to the strong working partnership created with the team at EnergyNZ - a partnership which created an exciting, new style of event, strong and relevant content, delivered by industry and global experts.”

The first ENEX – New Zealand’s Oil & Gas Event uniquely combined conference seminars and a trade market. It was launched in New Plymouth in June 2011, proving a huge success for the organisers, as participants and attendees can testify.

The second ENEX event is scheduled for June 2013, and interest among sponsors and exhibitors has already been very positive, says ENEX sales manager Mike Bridgman.

“The successful first event, combining the best elements of a conference, best practice seminars and trade show, showcasing the innovation and capacity of our oil and gas industry, is all proof participants need to sign up for ENEX 2013.

“The positive support of the local advisory board and repeat sponsorship from local companies, already confirmed for 2013, makes ENEX the focal point for the sector.”

Being a Kiwi-owned petroleum event endorsed by industry leaders means the second event will reflect the huge industry progress and investment by major players this year as oil and gas exploration and production reaches new levels, he adds.

Latest updates for ENEX 2013 can be found at www.enex.co.nz.
