Simple innovative technology for a healthier lifestyle

Fitbit hits New Zealand stores July 1st 2012

Simple innovative technology for a healthier more active lifestyle

Getting fit and keeping motivated will soon be a whole lot easier when internationally renowned connected health and fitness brand Fitbit launches its products, website and mobile apps in New Zealand on July 1st. Consisting of the Ultra Wireless Activity + Sleep Tracker, the Aria Wi-Fi Smart Scales, Fitbit.com, iPhone and Android apps - the Fitbit system allows you to track your everyday activity and fitness progress and wirelessly uploads your information to a personal fitness dashboard at Fitbit.com – helping to monitor, manage and motivate for an everyday healthier lifestyle.

Ultra Wireless Activity + Sleep Tracker – Much more than a pedometer, Ultra measures your all-day activity, including steps, calories burned, distance travelled and even stairs or hills climbed to encourage you to be more active. As sleep is so important for health and wellbeing, Ultra can monitor how long and how well you sleep, helping you to understand what makes for a better good nights’ sleep. Worn on your waist, in a pocket or attached to a bra Ultra gives you real-time information to motivate you throughout the day, automatically uploading data to your Fitbit.com dashboard whenever within five metres of your computer.

Aria Wi-Fi Smart Scales – Not only tracks your weight, but calculates % body fat and BMI for up to eight people – now that’s pretty smart! Personal data uploads via Wi-Fi to Fitbit.com where you can see graphs of your stats over time, stay motivated by earning badges, and manage your food intake to achieve weight goals or even compete with friends to really help reach your goals.
