Ispos Judged Most Effective Market Research Company in New Zealand

Global market research company Ipsos has continued its unequalled record at the New Zealand Market Research Effectiveness Awards.

Held every two years, the awards were held last Friday night, the 24th August at the Auckland Hilton.

Ipsos was awarded the 2012 Supreme Award, for a project conducted for Maritime New Zealand. The judges said the Ipsos project was “A world class case study in demonstrating what great qualitative research and teamwork can deliver.”

Ipsos also won the Supreme Award in 2008 and 2010, and has won more Effectiveness Awards than any other research company in New Zealand, including 13 Category awards, 2 Innovation awards, 2 Rookie of the Year Awards, and 7 ‘Highly Commended’ awards.

Of the 2012 awards, Ipsos won:
The Supreme Award - 2012
A project for Maritime NZ.

Effective Partnership Award
For Ipsos’ ongoing work for AMI Insurance after the Christchurch earthquakes.

Platinum Award for Social & Community Research
A project for Maritime NZ.

Platinum Award for Advertising and Media Research
A project for the Herald on Sunday newspaper

Gold Award for Social & Community Research
A project for the NZ Blood Service and Network Communication.

Managing Director for Ipsos New Zealand, Ian Mills, says:

“The results are exceptional to see and are a real credit to the Ipsos researchers. To have maintained our performance at the Effectiveness Awards over 12 years and two ownership changes shows incredible robustness amongst our researchers and a true dedication to conducting excellent research. But we cannot forget our wonderful clients – without them raising the challenges that they do, and then having the faith to act on our recommendations, the business results that they enjoy would not be forthcoming. These awards are a credit to our clients as well as our staff.”
