Overseas Market Report
A group of middling economic data reports failed to snap stocks out of their recent slump.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 29 points, or 0.23%, to 12542. The Standard & Poor's 500-stock index fell 2 points, or 0.16%, to 1353. The Nasdaq Composite shed 10 points, or 0.35%, to 2837. Telecommunications companies were the biggest laggers in the S&P 500, followed by utilities. .. Read More

Minding Of Meats: MPI Working To Clear Shipments To China

New export certificates are being issued to release containers of meat products held up at the Chinese border, the Ministry for Primary Industries said today. Shipments of meat into China were delayed after MPI issued export certification in a format which had not been approved by Chinese authorities at AQSIQ. More>>
