New drive-through cafe for the 21st century cafe-goer

16 November 2012

New drive-through cafe answers the demands of the 21st century Kiwi cafe-goer

East Auckland commuters, business people and locals can now pick up great coffee and cafe food on the go – without leaving their cars.

Esquires Coffee Houses has opened its first drive-through cafe, at 19 Cryers Road in East Tamaki.

For the first time, customers of the popular cafe can choose to keep their engines running, or park up and wander into the stylish and welcoming cafe for Fairtrade organic barista coffee, refreshing cold beverages and delicious fresh food.

As well as commuters, the new cafe caters to the business market and leisure seekers, with a business zone featuring free wifi, and chill-out zones with magazines and music.

“The 21st century New Zealand cafe-goer is demanding a flexible cafe that caters to them whether they’re wearing business suits or jeans, whether it’s dawn or mid-afternoon, whether they’re in a hurry or need a break,” says Joanne Hall, Brand Marketing Manager. “This innovative new cafe is designed to fulfil all those needs.”

With a 6am start on weekdays, the drive-through cafe will provide the perfect morning fix for early risers, and is open until 4pm. It’s also open on Saturdays – perfect for brunchers, or sports people racing to their games.
