Regular up to 13c per litre lower than some major oil companies
Auckland, 21 November 2012 – Gull confirmed its commitment to affordable motoring by announcing it would be holding existing price levels until at least Friday morning.
Graham Stirk, Gull Retail Manager said that the recent refined fuel price increase was a probable driver in at least one of the major oil companies increasing their pump price today.
“This is a busy time of the year with motorists gearing up for a busy weekend and festive season, every little bit we can do to assist helps. Gull is all about ensuring its prices represent good value.
“At Gull, you’ll save between 10c and 13c a litre off the published national pricing of 91 octane petrol,” says Stirk.
“Canny motorists will save more with Countdown supermarket vouchers at the manned sites – or utilize the fill and go convenience of the unmanned sites and save at the pump.
“We’ll look at the situation again on Friday morning and reassess things then.”
At the majority of Gull outlets where Gull controls retail prices, prices are as follows:
