Provoke Announcments

Provoke further strengthens leadership team with appointment of new Auckland GM.

Provoke Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Brady Cox to the position of GM Auckland.

Brady joins Provoke after an extremely successful time in the US as VP of Global Business Development for Zeacom, a New Zealand company specializing in unified communications. In this role Brady was responsible for establishing Zeacom’s partnership with Microsoft, as well as fostering new relationships with key organisations within the Microsoft partner network.

Previously Brady held a range of senior roles within Zeacom, including VP of Sales and National Sales Manager (NZ), and replaces Brendon Ford who has been acting GM Auckland for the last 3 years.

This appointment is another significant step in Provoke’s domestic and global expansion, and his track record in driving growth was key to Brady’s selection. Also vital was Brady’s long history with Microsoft and the Microsoft technology stack, specifically the unified communications platform Lync.

“Brady brings a range of key skills that we were seeking for this role. His passion for the Microsoft product stack, combined with his drive to create growth and his track record of international success was the ideal blend for what Provoke are wanting to achieve” says Ford. “I’ve got no doubt that Provoke Auckland will go from strength to strength under Brady’s leadership.”

Provoke’s passion for their customers is clearly shared by Cox. “I’m really excited about joining the team at Provoke. These guys are leading the way with enabling organisations through technology and my focus will be on helping more customers to benefit from what Provoke and Microsoft can do for their business.” Brady commenced his new role on Monday 19th of November. Provoke achieves “5 offices on 3 continents” objective with the opening of the South East Asia Subsidiary

Today Provoke Limited announced the opening of Provoke Solutions Asia with the establishment of their new office in Singapore and the appointment of Paul Harris to the role of General Manager South East Asia. Mason Pratt, Provoke’s CEO is justifiably pleased with the achievement. “A major part of our 5 year vision has been what we called “5 on 3”, the establishment of 5 offices on 3 continents. Opening our Seattle office last year was a huge step towards this and 12 months later it is extremely satisfying to have now achieved this objective.”

Provoke’s focus now shifts to consolidating these positions through the same unique blend of design and technology that has seen them become one of New Zealand’s leading solutions providers.

As for the solutions that they will be offering in the region, Provoke are taking a “softly, softly” approach. “One of the principles that has been central to our success to date is knowing where our expertise lies” says Pratt. ”We are well aware that we have a lot to learn about the cultures of the countries that we are now serving and as such we will be focusing our services on the key areas of business process automation, workflow, and enterprise document management that are common across business, no matter where you operate. The experience we have to offer in this area is second to none, and I have no doubt that our expertise, coupled with our design and user experience background, will bring something new to Singapore and the South East Asia region. As we gain a better understanding of the business environment, and the needs of our customers, we will bring our full kit bag of solutions to bear.”

Paul joins Provoke from Microsoft, where he held a number of senior roles, most recently that of Global Architect. He brings a wealth of strategic and technical knowledge and is a specialist in business optimisation. Paul has worked with some of the world’s largest organisations, with deep expertise in the telecommunications and financial services sectors.

“I’m really excited to be at the spearhead of Provoke’s expansion into South East Asia”, says Harris. “I’ve long seen a need for the expertise and skills that Provoke has to offer and I have no doubt that businesses in the region will be quick to recognize that Provoke can help them achieve their financial and operational goals.”

The expansion into South East Asia has been a considered one, and the establishment of Provoke Solutions Asia Pte. Ltd. in Singapore, a 100% owned subsidiary of Provoke Limited, has provided a business hub for expansion. Provoke Solutions Makati Inc., has also been opened, and the office will be operated and staffed in the Philippines. “We completed a number of projects in Manila last year, and we found the talent and work ethos of the local teams to have great resonance with our business culture. When we were planning our expansion into Asia, we didn’t think twice about opening in Manila, knowing that we would be able to find and attract some very talented people to join our business” said Provoke’s CFO, John “JR” Robson.

Paul Harris commenced his role with Provoke on the 26th of November.
