Marsh Opens Office to Serve Clients in the Waikato Region

Stuart Hamilton appointed Branch Manager

Auckland, 11 February, 2013 – Marsh, a global leader in insurance broking and risk management, today announced the opening of a new branch in the Waikato region.

Celebrating 55 years of operation in New Zealand this year, Marsh recognised the need to expand its regional presence into this important hub, which is the fourth largest region in New Zealand.

The branch will be managed by Stuart Hamilton, a highly experienced risk and insurance professional with more than 25 years working in the industry. Prior to coming to Marsh, Mr Hamilton had roles at Allianz, LMW / Crombie Lockwood Insurance Brokers and the Medical Assurance Society.

”We are excited about our new office in the Waikato,” said Grant Milne, Country Head of Marsh New Zealand. “We have been serving clients in this area for many years and will now be able to offer them a full locally-based service. I am also glad that Stuart Hamilton has joined us as Branch Manager. As a long-standing member of the local insurance community, he will be an asset as we expand our offering to regional businesses.”

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Hamilton said: “Having worked in the Waikato region for many years, I am delighted to be able to bring the vast resources that Marsh has available to help businesses in Hamilton and its surrounds. I look forward to working with companies in this growing region to help them manage their evolving risk and insurance needs.”

The Waikato office will be based at 361 Ulster Street, Hamilton.
