Auckland is New Zealand’s most romantic city

Tuesday, February 12 2012; With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, sales of red roses will be going through the roof and, if last year is anything to go by, Aucklanders will be buying more than any other region.

Last year Aucklanders bought more than 25,000 red roses from The Warehouse, with Canterbury coming in second with nearly 18,000 red roses bought.

A bunch of red roses is a classic Valentine’s Day gift and The Warehouse has the most affordable range out there. From $1.99 for a single red rose ($3 cheaper than what was available last year!) to $59.99 for 12 long stemmed red roses in a box, they’re a great gift option for your loved one.

The roses will be available at all stores from midday today (Tuesday 12th February) so they’re the perfect last minute gift.
