Time Poor No More

MEDIA RELEASE

Date: 13th February 2013

Time poor no more

World--renowned time--management expert Robyn Pearce will be in Wellington on the 1st of March 2013 to share the knowledge that turned her life around. Once a solo mother of six on a government benefit, Robyn gained the necessary skills needed to become a successful internationally recognized speaker and businesswoman. She is now at the top of her game when it comes to organisation, delegation and prioritising and is passing on her advice to people with similar aspirations. Speaking of her earlier struggles, Robyn explains, “after a few long years I decided to fight my way out of the poverty trap. I ended up in real estate and the number one lesson I learned along the way was the value of good time management. To start with I was kicked out of meetings for being late, plus I burnt out numerous times from over work and poor time habits.”

After receiving a few wise words, not to mention a proper diary from a friend, Robyn set about turning her lemons into lemonade and what was once her major weakness has been converted into her key strength and the basis of a successful international business. “It’s a huge buzz these days helping others make the same changes to their life as they learn and practice the many simple and practical productivity habits that changed my life so dramatically,” she says. Her upcoming Wellington workshop on time management is being held as a part of the 2013 Breakfast Club series, run by Gettingagrip.com, which she presents around the country.

Running from 7--9am the workshop rotates around New Zealand main centres and is held in Wellington approximately once every three months. It was started a year ago, in response to demand for Robyn’s time and is continually increasing in audience size. The workshops focus on a main topic, such as prioritising, email management, or delegation and also provide participants with other timesaving strategies to increase productivity. They give business owners and corporates the opportunity to get a motivational injection and focus on a particular element of time management without having to miss a day at the office.

Workshop details: “Getting a grip on time” Getting a Grip Breakfast Club, Wellington, Friday March 1st from 7.00am – 9.00am at Write Ltd, Lambton Quay. Ticket price: $95 + GST.
