Subway Restaurants Scoops Customer Satisfaction Award

MEDIA RELEASE 1 March 2013

SUBWAY® RESTAURANTS SCOOPS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AWARD FOR SECOND YEAR

SUBWAY® Restaurants has been voted New Zealand’s Quick Service Restaurant of the Year in the Roy Morgan Research Customer Satisfaction Awards for a consecutive year.

The award recognises SUBWAY® Restaurants commitment to providing superior customer service in an increasingly competitive industry.

David Herrick, SUBWAY® Restaurants Head of Marketing, says the New Zealand network has worked hard to provide a point of difference to other quick service restaurants through outstanding customer service.

“Over the past 12 months we have strived to increase our focus on customer service,” says Herrick. “We have implemented a unique customer feedback system called tellsubway.co.nz, which allows every single customer to give feedback on their experience in our restaurants.”

“We have a great team of franchisees and Sandwich Artists™ who are dedicated to satisfying their customers from the moment they walk through our doors. On behalf of the SUBWAY® team, we thank our customers and Roy Morgan for the recognition.”

The Customer Satisfaction Awards are based on Roy Morgan Single Source which surveys over 12,000 New Zealanders every year.

The SUBWAY® restaurant chain is the world's largest submarine sandwich franchise, with more than 38,500 locations in 100 countries. Nationally, SUBWAY® Restaurants employ over 2,500 Sandwich Artists™ and Managers.
