Joan Withers appointed to ANZ Bank New Zealand Ltd

ANZ Bank New Zealand Ltd announced today that Joan Withers would become an independent Director of the company, effective from 1 July 2013.

The appointment has been approved by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand.

Ms Withers is the former CEO of Fairfax Media and The Radio Network and is the Chairperson of Auckland International Airport Ltd and Mighty River Power Ltd, and is Deputy Chairperson of Television New Zealand. She has an MBA from the University of Auckland.
