The Orange Group appoints Andrew Frost as Group Finance Manager
Andrew Frost, previously a General Manager of Finance & Corporate Services has started at The Orange Group, experiential, hospitality and events agency.

The Orange Group has announced the appointment of Andrew Frost as Group Finance Manager.

Previously with Competenz, he started in the role of Financial Controller and Admin Manager, before being promoted to the role of General Manager of Finance and Corporate Services.

“I’m excited by the challenges of joining such a dynamic agency. The experiential, events and hospitality industries are new territories that I’m looking forward to working in”, says Frost.

“Andrew brings highly relevant experience to Orange, from technical accountancy to driving better performance. He is already proving an asset to the Group and I’m looking forward to working with him as we grow the business”, says Tony Gardner, CEO.

One of the leaders of the experiential marketing industry in New Zealand, The Orange Group are an experiential marketing, events and hospitality agency with over 21 years of successful operations. Orange has created a multitude of activations, conferences, events, incentives and experiential marketing campaigns for clients including New Zealand government departments, international brands and some of New Zealand’s largest companies.

In 2011 and 2012, Orange has successfully expanded its experiential marketing division, developed in part by Orange bringing a significant amount of Rugby World Cup business into New Zealand from international agencies and tenders. Their Rugby World Cup work has provided new international opportunities being pursued by the company directors, Stu & Semele Robertson, and a number of experiential campaigns for companies such as ANZ, TVNZ, Kellogg’s and Samsung.

Andrew Frost's career has seen him successful in roles as a chartered accountant as well as on the corporate side. He studied at Auckland University and the Manukau Institute of Technology and has worked for companies including Hayes Knight and Flight Centre. Career highlights include the promotion to General Manager of Finance and Corporate Services at Competenz, along with a promotion from Finance Manager to CFO – Product Nation at Flight Centre.

Outside of corporate life, Andrew lives with his wife in Karaka and enjoys cricket – he used to play, coach and be a club treasurer. He also likes running, competing in half marathons, and plays the odd round of social golf.
