Aotearoa Welcomes Drake Safety

Aotearoa Welcomes Drake Safety

Drake International puts its safety foot forward with the launch of an OSH service line in New Zealand.

In the last decade, organisations worldwide have received increasingly harsher fines and penalties for not providing a safe environment to work. Due to the importance of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) for businesses, Drake International has launched its Drake Safety division in New Zealand. Focused on making businesses safer for employees, Drake Safety offers clients workplace OSH training and solutions-based interventions to assist in creating a better environment for their staff.

Launched in Australia and Singapore in 2012, Drake Safety is the latest edition to Drake New Zealand's suite of productivity and performance solutions. Formerly part of Drake's internal Occupational Safety and Health team, Drake Safety was created to assist clients with any OSH matter they may encounter, as many businesses do not have the resources to handle this internally.

Paul Deakin, General Manager of Drake Safety, states "After 20 years of legal obligations imposed on New Zealand organisations and a recent change to insurances for work related injuries, there is now even more pressure on the economies of business."

Drake Safety's four main service lines have been instrumental in ensuring that workplaces are have effective and robust safety practices. The Drake Safety suite of solutions are grouped into the following categories:

* Safety Management Services * Injury Management Services * Safety Culture Services * Safety Training Services

"With an ever increasing escalation of enforcement and penalties based on non-compliance and serious injuries, Drake Safety has positioned itself globally to reduce reactive insurances and alleviate compliance issues through a suite of proactive safety management solutions."

The risks are too great to gamble on safety, so take the luck out of your OSH management with Drake Safety.
