A little expansion

Date: 10th April 2013

MEDIA RELEASE: A little expansion

Purple Sherbet, the public relations agency for SME’s has appointed Alex Little as an account executive.

Formed three years ago, by owner and Managing Director Sarah Davies, Purple Sherbet is still a very young company but it has been steadily expanding since its advent. “With the signing of new clients came the need for new talent and Alex fit the bill perfectly”, says Sarah.

“It’s been a pleasure bringing Alex into the Purple Sherbet team,” she says. “Her fresh outlook and willingness to learn is just what we were looking for.” Alex is working across an eclectic mix of accounts including Daltons, Market Share, Gettingagrip, Elephant Group and Kings Seeds.

Prior to her appointment at Purple Sherbet, Alex was stretching her wings in the not-for-profit world working for The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation. She loved being a part of breast cancer awareness month but is also looking forward to the diversity that agency work will offer.

“I always wanted to start my career working in an agency so I could gain experience across a number of industries,” she explains. “I really like the no fuss approach Purple Sherbet takes, so the job is perfect for me.”

The Ellerslie based PR consultancy specialises in working with SME’s and has helped a number of emerging companies get from where they were to where they wanted to be. For more information go to www.purplesherbet.co.nz.
