A Botswana wildlife safari and cycling adventure through Burma are among the more than 450 thrilling itineraries on offer in Explore Worldwide’s new 2013-14 Discovery Adventures brochure.

The 278-page brochure features unique small group adventures in Europe, Egypt, the Middle East, Africa, the Americas, Asia and the Pacific, including new destinations such as Kosovo, Iraq and the Philippines, and off the beaten track locations like Madagascar and Kyrgyzstan.

Tours include the 13-day Good Morning Vietnam! which travels along the beautiful coast from Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi including the beaches of Nha Trang, the ancient imperial city of Hue, the historic sea port of Hoi An and a traditional junk boat cruise around Ha Long Bay from NZ$1297* per person twin share.

It includes accommodation with daily breakfast, one lunch, one dinner, Explore tour leader and drivers, and train, bus, boat and taxi transport.

Explore the highlights of one of the world’s hottest travel destinations on two wheels on the 14-day Burma by Bike from NZ$3779* per person twin share.

The itinerary cycles the rural back-roads between the main attractions of Bagan, Mandalay and Inle Lake and includes accommodation with daily breakfast, tour leader, drivers and boatmen, and use of 24 gear bikes and simple local bikes in Bagan.

You’ll also get close to locals in less visited but equally rewarding places such as Bago, Popa and Myingyan. Cycling an average of 33km a day over nine days, the rides are graded as easy and the presence of a support vehicle throughout gives you the option of not riding.
