New Ratings Record For ‘Campbell Live’

Kiwis tuned into Campbell Live last night in record numbers.  The show was watched by an average audience of 430,500 viewers (5+), the highest in the programme’s eight year history.

Monday 27 May was also the first time Campbell Live has attracted an average audience of more than 400,000 for over eight years - since its launch episode on March 13, 2005.

Last night’s episode rated well in TV3’s target demographic of 25-54 year-olds, attracting an average audience of 158,700, the largest since 2011.

Director of News and Current Affairs Mark Jennings says:  “This result and the upwards trend shows that viewers are choosing current affairs over the ‘non-current affairs’ on TV One.

Campbell Live is now the clear choice for viewers who want to stay informed on what’s happening in New Zealand, and the stories that really matter.”

Seven Sharp was last night watched by an average total audience of 393,300 (5+) and a 25-54 audience of 105,000.
