Spending remains strong as winter looms

Figures released today by New Zealand’s leading payments provider Paymark, show another positive month of spending growth during May, up 5.1 per cent year-on-year.

Paymark Head of Sales and Marketing, Paul Whiston says a number of regions saw above average growth rates for the month, with Marlborough and Hawkes Bay both reporting spending growth of 9.2 per cent and 6.4 per cent respectively.
