Brewers Guild Awards 2013 brought to you by Craftology

The Brewers’ Guild of New Zealand is proud to announce Craftology as the major sponsor for the 2013 Brewers’ Guild of New Zealand Beer Awards.

Beer Festival Standards
In conjunction with the Brewers Association, the Brewers Guild is running a workshop in September which will look at best practice for hosting safe and successful beer events. There are several major beer festivals that are already doing this well, but with new events popping up each year, the main aim of the workshop is to establish some standards on how beer is presented and served, as well as the type of behaviour around beer that should be expected at events.

The workshop will also look at the ASA advertising and promotion guidelines, along with the implications of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and how it applies to events.
